1972 Dodge Charger

1972 Dodge Charger

A classic muscle car, this black 1971 Dodge Charger is in amazing shape, with glossy paint thanks to the use of car covers.  I think you’d have to flip a coin between a classic Charger and a classic Mustang as to which one is more indicative of the American muscle car, but either way, you’d be right.

1965 Chevy Impala

There’s nothing quite as nice as a classic muscle car.  This 1965 Chevy Impala has clearly been kept under a car cover even when it was indoors, as the paint appears to be flawless.  I can imagine that on the rare occasions when this car is taken out to drive, it’s a lot of fun on the open road.  Kinda makes you jealous.

I’m not sure if this is the exact car that Prince was singing about, but this red 1958 Corvette convertible is in great shape.  Whoever owns this car clearly loves it and has been keeping it under car covers since the day they got it.  It’s nice that those that own these works of art keep them under a car cover to ensure they stay in great condition.

Classic Orange Car

I’m not sure exactly what kind of car this is, but I do know that it’s incredibly orange, and the interior at least is in amazing shape.  The owner of this car would need car covers just to protect passer-by’s from being blinded on a sunny day.  Either way, a great classic car if you love orange.

1937 Bugatti Type 57S Atalante

A rare 1937 Bugatti Type 57S Atalante was found in England last week, along with a classic Jaguar and Aston Martin, in a garage owned by the late Dr. Harold Carr when his relatives began going through things following his passing.  The car, which hadn’t been driven since the 60’s, is one of 17 made, and is a collectors dream vehicle.

In relatively good shape, though covered in dust from lack of car covers being used, the Bugatti is expected to draw a record price at auction – upwards of $4.3 million.  The Aston Martin has already been sold and the Jaguar scrapped because of its poor condition.

They don’t make them like this any more.  This classic two tone Dodge Taxi (year unknown) is in pretty good shape.  The paint looks a little faded (should have been kept under a car cover), but it still looks pretty amazing.  Woudn’t mind riding around NYC in one of those.
